Supporting banned CPI Maoist organizations, directly and indirectly, is
an illegal and punishable offense.
- The support given by some organizations to make Bharat Bandh was successful by speaking in letter and spirit the slogans given by Maoists on 27th September 2021 does not seem to be a co-operative but a well-thought-out conspiracy.
- Shri Sundarraj P. Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range informed that strict vigil is being kept by the police and security forces on the activities of individuals and organizations supporting the Maoists.
A Bharat Bandh has also been called on 27 September 2021 by the banned CPI Maoist organization, announcing the celebration of the 17th foundation anniversary from 21 to 27 September 2021. In the last years, more than 1797 innocent villagers were killed and crores of government and private properties were damaged by the CPI Maoist organization in the Bastar division by causing violent incidents. Organizing Martyrs Week, Establishment Week, Janpituri Week, etc. of banned CPI Maoist organizations is only a mask of their negative and violent actions.
Due to the understanding of the anti-development and anti-people face of the Maoists by the people of the area, they are not giving any kind of support to the Maoists. Despite this, people and organizations of some interior areas being forced to participate in various types of rallies, processions, and demonstrations by intimidation and misinformation by Maoists. Due to not understanding such tactics of CPI Maoists, some individuals and organizations are falling prey to the conspiracy of Maoists. It was told by Shri Sundarraj P. Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range that giving any kind of direct and indirect support to the banned CPI Maoist organization would be an illegal and punishable offense. The activities of such individuals and organizations are being closely monitored by the police and security forces. If any person or organization is associated with violent and unconstitutional activities of banned CPI Maoist organization, the strictest legal action will be taken against them.
