Agni-5 ( Agni Pancham ) successfully tested by DRDO

(Agni-5) is an intercontinental ballistic missile from India. It has been developed by the DRDO. Agni Pancham's state-of-the-art 17 meters long and two-meter wide Agni-5 missile is capable of carrying a 1-tonne payload equipped with nuclear warheads. A three-stage propulsion system has been installed in this missile to be used in a range of up to 5 thousand kilometers. It has been prepared by the Advanced Systems Laboratory, Hyderabad.

The biggest feature of this missile is MIRV technology i.e. Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicles. At the same time, shells can be fired at many places, even the bases of different countries can be attacked simultaneously.

Agni 5 missile is very easy to use. It can be used anywhere, be it railroad or air. It can be deployed in any corner of the country while its help can be taken during the war from any platform. Not only this, canister technology has been used in the launching system of Agni V.

Because of this, this missile can be easily transported anywhere so that we can get closer to our enemy. With the success of the Agni 5 missile, the strength of the Indian Army will increase manifold because not only does it have a range of 5 thousand kilometers, but  Agni V. is also capable of carrying nuclear weapons.

Agni-5 is India's first intercontinental ballistic missile. After Agni-5, India has been counted among those 5 countries which have Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). Before India, America, Russia, France, and China have acquired the power of inter-continental ballistic missiles. This is a gap of about 10 years when India's strength has gone from Agni-1 missile to Agni-5 missile.

The Agni-I missile that crossed the line of successful test in 2002 was a medium-range ballistic missile. It had a range of 700 km and could carry up to 1000 kg of nuclear warheads. Then came Agni-2, Agni-3, and Agni-4 missiles. These three are intermediate-range ballistic missiles. Their range is 2000 to 3500 km. And now India's Defense Research and Development Organization ie DRDO is going to test the Agni-5 missiles. The sixth test of Agni-5 was conducted on June 3, 2018, at 9:48 am.

As far as the merits of India's first intercontinental ballistic missile Agni-5 are concerned. So it will be able to carry a payload of about one ton. The Agni-5 missile itself weighs about 50 tonnes. Agni-5 is 17 meters in length and 2 meters in width. Agni-5 is a solid fuel 3-stage missile

Today, when India's first intercontinental ballistic missile will be test-fired from Wheeler Island off the Odisha coast, DRDO chief Dr. V.K. All top missile scientists including Saraswat will be present. RING LASER GYROSCOPE ie RLG technology has been used in Agni-5. The specialty of this technology made in India is that it hits the target very accurately.

If all goes well, Agni-5 will be inducted into the Indian Army from 2014. Not only this, Chinese missile Dongfeng 31A will get a tough competition from Agni-5 because the range of Agni-5 also includes Harbin, China's northernmost city, which is the biggest reason for China's fear.

Salient features:

(1) With Agni 5, India will join the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) club. The US, Russia, France, and China are previously equipped with such missiles.

(2) The target of the Agni-5 missile is amazing. It will cover a distance of five thousand kilometers in 20 minutes and will hit the target of one and a half meters.

(3) Agni-5 will bring a big change in India's strategic strategy. With this missile, except America, the whole of Asia, Africa, and Europe will be under India's purview.

(4) Once this missile is missed, it cannot be stopped. It will run faster than a bullet and can carry a nuclear weapon of 1000 kg.

(5) It will be India's longest-range missile. Capable of carrying up to a ton of nuclear warheads on a warhead.

(6) Agni-5 will test the technology of releasing multiple nuclear warheads from one missile of India.

(7) The technology of the Agni 5 missile can be used to launch small satellites. Not only this but it can also be used to destroy enemy satellites.

(8)-It will be released only after the order of the Prime Minister. India is calling it 'Shanti Shastra' (Weapon of Peace).

(9) Amazing techniques have been used in this 17-meter high missile. This missile will hit in three stages. The first rocket engine will take it to an altitude of 40 km. In the second stage, it will go up to 150 km. In the third stage, it will go up to 300 km. All together it will reach an altitude of 800 km.

(10) India has so far the longest-range missile Agni 4. It kills up to three and a half thousand kilometers. Agni 5 will hit up to five thousand kilometers.
