The Fifth Edition of the India-Kazakhstan Joint
Military Exercise KAZIND-21 will be conducted from 30 August to 11
September 2021. This joint training exercise will be conducted as a part of
military diplomacy. It is extremely useful to strengthen the growing strategic
ties with Kazakhstan. This training exercise will be conducted at
Ayesha Biwi, Kazakhstan.
The exercise is a Joint
Military Exercise between India-Kazakhstan Armies,
which will boost the bilateral relations between both countries.
The joint military exercise will help boost bilateral relations between India
and Kazakhstan. It will also provide an opportunity for India's Armed Forces
to undertake training for counter-terrorist operations in mountainous and
rural scenarios as mandated by the United Nations.
Mutual trust will help to strengthen interoperability and enable sharing of
best practices between the armies of both countries.
KAZIND - 2019 edition was organized between India and Kazakhstan in
Uttarakhand in 2019.
This military exercise is conducted alternately in Kazakhstan and India.
During this exercise, the armies of both countries share the experience which
they have gained while conducting several counter-terrorism operations. It
also covers aspects of emerging trends in hybrid warfare.
